Yacht Owners Representative

On Friday 16th May, our CEO Kerry Ballard returned from an exceptional week at the renowned Benetti Yachts shipyard in Livorno (part of the Azimut/Benetti Yachts Group), and we are thrilled to say she completed and PASSED Unit 40 of the Yacht Owner Representatives Program.

This
IAMI GUEST Program-accredited course, delivered in collaboration with the Superyacht Alliance and Superyacht Builders Association (SYBAss) offers far more than technical insights. It challenges you to think deeply about what it truly means to represent an owner — blending leadership, strategic responsibility, and effective communication in one of the industry’s most multifaceted roles.

Superyacht Sales UK would like to offer our sincere thanks to the course leaders, Martin Mainey and Paul Bridge at
Superyacht Leadership Academy, whose depth of experience, straight-talking insight, and encouragement to lead with purpose, made this such a valuable learning experience for Kerry.

We'd also like to further extend our gratitude to Azimut|Benetti Group for their hospitality and openness — it was a privilege to engage directly with their team and operations, and to gain a clearer understanding of what sets this impressive shipyard apart.

What elevated the week even further was the calibre of the group that Kerry shared it with. The honest discussions, knowledge-sharing, and mutual respect from a broad international mix of industry professionals, created an environment she won’t soon forget. Kerry come away not only with new skills and perspectives but also with great industry connections and friendships.

If you’re thinking about a refit project, or even a new-build construction project, Superyacht Sales UK would be pleased to offer guidance and professional representation to help you navigate the complete process with trust and confidence.
